“LS-DYNA is a multipurpose originally developed for explicit, nonlinear stress analysis of structures subjected to impact loading. But now LS-DYNA is a Multiphysics code used for several applications like Automotive (e.g: crash, airbag deployment, etc), Aero Space (e.g: Bird strike, blade containment), Manufacture processing (e.g: Stamping, forging, casting), FSI problems, etc. LS-DYNA can also be used for implicit analysis for applications such as structural response to static and quasi static loading. LS-DYNA helps simulation engineers to understand structural response and help them to reduce product development time and cost.
